TRAINING ALLIANCE GROUP TO OFFER THE HYPNOTHERAPY PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA (HPD)

April 2011 brought with it a stronger training offer from the TRAINING ALLIANCE GROUP (TAG). In addition to the ground breaking 6 day DIPLOMA IN HYPNOTHERAPY PRACTICE (DHP), 20 day CLINICIAN DIPLOMA (CDHP) and the full 40 day MASTER DIPLOMA (MDHP), TAG are proud to extend to their students the opportunity to study for the highly regarded, independently awarded HYPNOTHERAPY PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA (HPD).

In adding this award to our portfolio we feel we are providing one of the most comprehensive set of training packages available today. Students can elect where to join our training programme, be that at entry level with the 6 day DHP award giving a basic but comprehensive understanding of Hypnotherapy and NLP, or the full 20 day CDHP covering one academic year and delivering a complete set of skills, knowledge and confidence in using and applying Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBP). In addition, the 40 day MDPH over a two year period takes your degree of understanding and application to a true Master's standard, along with the accompanying higher level awards attained.

The HPD can be opted into at commencement of either the CDHP or MDHP courses. There is an additional lb500 fee for the HPD to cover registration and course administration, which incorporates assignment and coursework marking, feedback and final submission. This payment also includes your first year's NCH membership, plus one complementary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) module from the NCH.

THE HPD (HYPNOTHERAPY PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA)

The HYPNOTHERAPY PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA (HPD) is a qualification that was instigated in June 2002 and accredited jointly by the NCH and the NCFE, previously known as the Northern Council for Further Education. The HPD is the first nationally accredited open-to-all Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

Both the NCH and the NCFE offer you this jointly accredited credential in the interests of consolidating hypnotherapy training into an externally verified qualification. The Learning Outcomes for the HPD are in line with the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy.

"AN IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION FOR ANYONE STUDYING FOR A QUALIFICATION IS "WHO AWARDS IT?" AND "IS IT RECOGNISED?" WE ARE CONFIDENT WITH REGARD TO BOTH THE HPD AND TAG'S THREE HYPNOTHERAPY PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA'S THAT THESE TWO QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED FAVORABLY."

THE NCFE (PREVIOUSLY THE NORTHERN COUNCIL FOR FURTHER EDUCATION)

"The NCH has been approved as an NCFE centre. The HPD has been accredited by NCFE to guarantee that it is of a high standard and the course content meets the rigorous requirements of a national awarding organisation"

The NCFE is an awarding body operating throughout the UK offering nationally accredited qualifications from Entry Level up to and including Level 4 as well as NVQs, Functional Skills, Diplomas, Apprenticeships and Key Skills.

NCFE qualifications, schemes and awards are offered by colleges, private training providers, adult education centres, community groups, schools and businesses. Last academic year, over 150,000 people used their NCFEcertificates to boost their career prospects, realise their ambitions and achieve their goals.

The NCFE can trace their record of working with colleges and other providers back to their founding organisation, the Northern Union of Mechanics' Institutes (NUMI), established in 1848.

The NCFE's earliest incarnation held lofty ambitions. Its first report declared its intention to "become a centre from whence the elements of knowledge and civilisation shall go on with an unceasing progress, conferring intellectual, scientific and moral blessings throughout the length and breadth of the Northern Counties."

From 1920, the Northern Counties Technical Examinations Council (NCTEC or 'Northern Counties' as it became affectionately known) supplanted NUMI and in 1981, the Northern Advisory Council for Further Education (NACFE), merged with the NCTEC to become the NORTHERN COUNCIL FOR FURTHER EDUCATION.

When the further education sector was incorporated (made independent of the government) in the early 1990's, the company felt the old name was incompatible with our new national focus and it has since then been identified simply as NCFE with the letters no longer being an acronym.
